Students Enjoying Zion

Zion National Park features stunning scenery, sandstone cliffs among the highest in the world, diverse plant and animal communities, and Ancestral Puebloan, Paiute, and Mormon pioneer history. It’s a wonderful outdoor classroom for school groups. The following material should help you plan a successful educational experience whether you bring your class to Zion, or want to bring Zion into your classroom.

Planning Educational Field Trips

Outreach Programs for Elementary Schools

Zion National Park offers an Educational Outreach Program for 2nd through 5th grade classes within a 50-mile radius of the park.  The programs are offered in October, March, and April.  For more information, click on the link below:
