Yosemite National Park

To honor the President's request to designate September 14, 2001 as a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, park employees, visitors, friends, and family joined together in front of the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center in remembrance of Tuesday's terrorist attacks. Those attending signed a banner, which will be sent to Manhattan Sites--a collection of National Park Service units in the New York City area. Yosemite National Park is preparing to send park personnel to assist as part of a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) team, which will aid National Park Service employees and their family members in the New York City area. The members of the CISD team will deliver the banner to show the support of the Yosemite community.
