Teachers, students, and visitors: learn about and plan educational field trips to Yosemite National Park. Our education pages are designed to help all students and teachers who are interested in Yosemite, especially those planning a field trip to the park. An interactive geology lesson and a virtual hike (one that can be duplicated in the park on foot) are included.
In addition, children's programs are offered all year. You can find an overview of offerings or check the Yosemite Today for information about regularly scheduled programs.
The junior ranger program consists of an activity booklet, ranger program, and litter collection.
Ranger-led junior ranger activities are available from late June through August.
Cost for the activity booklet is $3.50 (plus tax). When it's completed, the junior ranger receives a junior ranger patch.
Children ages 3-6 can complete a Little Cub activity booklet (including attending a ranger program and picking up litter).
