North Pines Campground

Location: Yosemite Valley, near Curry Village Open: April through September (approximately) Dump station: Yes (at Upper Pines Campground) Each campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker [33"(D)x45"(W)x18"(H)], and is near a bathroom with potable water and flushing toilets. Campsites 111, 113, and 119 are suitable for wheelchairs. Picnic tables at these sites have extended tops. These campsites are limited to people with disabilities.

Did You Know?
In Yosemite Valley, dropping over 594-foot Nevada Fall and then 317-foot Vernal Fall, the Merced River creates what is known as the “Giant Staircase.” Such exemplary stair-step river morphology is characterized by a large variability in river movement and flow, from quiet pools to the dramatic drops of the waterfalls themselves.
