Meetings and Events
Park staff welcome you to come to Yosemite and talk with us in person about our plans and projects. Pubic meetings and monthly Open Houses are a great way to learn more about what is going on in the park. These arenas offer a chance for you to meet with park and project managers to get your questions answered, or your comments submitted.

The National Park Service holds regular Open Houses to discuss current plans and projects. These are held in the Valley Visitor Center Auditorium from 1:00-4:00 pm (unless otherwise noted). The following are the scheduled dates for the upcoming Open House events:
Did You Know?
When it opened to the public on May 29, 1926, the Yosemite Museum became the first museum building in the national park system, and its educational objectives served as a model for parks nationwide. It still functions much as it was originally intended, and currently exhibits items which mainly reflect the Native occupation of Yosemite Valley and its surroundings. When in the park, you can visit with one of three cultural demonstrators who primarily staff the Museum.
