 January 26, 2011  1 to 4 p.m.  Auditorium in Yosemite Valley

In concert with the public review of the Invasive Plant Management Plan Update Environmental Assessment, Yosemite National Park will host two public meetings on January 5 and 26, 2011. The first meeting will be on January 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the El Portal Community Hall. The second meeting will be conducted as part of the park's regularly scheduled open house on January 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Theopen house will feature a special presentation on the plan and a question and answer session with the project managers.

Scoping Meetings
Yosemite National Park held an open house in Yosemite Valley, Wednesday April 28th from 1-4 pm. During the Open House a park botanist led a tour of Cooks Meadow. The presentation explored some of the challenges and successes in the battle to protect Yosemite’s biodiversity and discussed recent developments driving the need for an update. This 45-minute casual hike departed from the open house.
