When You Arrive

Traffic in YosemiteYosemite National Park is north of Fresno and encompasses 747,956 acres — 94.5% of which is designated wilderness. With 800 miles of developed trails, the park is the ideal learning environment.

The park hosts approximately three to four million visitors each year, so knowing where to go and what to expect can help you get the most out of your field trip.
