February 9 was one of Susan Chin's days off. She decided
to spend it skiing and taking photos and video for this feature. She
left Canyon Village
around noon and it was warm enough that she only wore one jacket.
It was probably really only 20 degrees F. but it felt like 40 degrees
in the sun and even warmer once the skiing exercise started. She ran
into a snowcoach tour at a couple of locations. Most of the visitors
you see at the lookouts were members of that tour. The video shows
views from a few different locations along the rims of the Grand
Canyon of the Yellowstone.
