Road construction occurs every summer in Yellowstone. Please refer to our Road Construction Delays and Closures page for more information. If you are planning to visit between October and April be aware that many park roads are closed to wheeled vehicles during this snowy time of year. Refer to Operating Hours and Seasons for details.

Even though the animals of Yellowstone seem tame they are still wild. Feeding the animals is not permitted in any way, and all visitors must keep 100 yards away from wolves and bears, and 25 yards from other animals.
