The road from Lake to WestThumb is now open to snowmobiles and snow coaches.
Weather Forecast Today Mostly cloudy and breezy with a 20% chance of rain or snow showers. Highs 36 to 42. Lows 20 to 26.
Monday through Wednesday Mostly cloudy and breezy with a 20-30% chance of rain or snow showers each day. Highs 38 to 48. Lows 15 to 26.
Thursday through Saturday Partly cloudy. Highs 35 to 48. Lows 12 to 20.

Did You Know?
Some groups of Shoshone Indians, who adapted to a mountain existence, chose not to acquire the horse. These included the Sheep Eaters, or Tukudika, who used dogs to transport food, hides, and other provisions. The Sheep Eaters lived in many locations in Yellowstone.
