- The Arthur Fire was reported between 1-1:30 p.m. is now estimated at around 800 acres

- The Arthur Fire is now estimated at around 900 acres and is less that 150 yards from the road; the road will remain closed until it is safe to reopen to traffic

- With the Arthur Fire contained and daily progress being made on mopping up the remaining hotspots, the Northern Rockies Incident Management Team that has been overseeing suppression of the fire since July 31 is preparing to return home. Percent Contained: 100%
Update - 21 Aug - Tues
The Arthur Fire, started by lightning on July 29, remains at 2,800 acres. Work continues on mopping up hotspots and rehabilitating firelines. Currently, there are 48 personnel committed to this fire. The fire is contained but not controlled.
Update - 25 August
A few smokes showed early inside the perimeter and were cooled with bucket work.
Update - 29 Aug - Wed
The Arthur Fire, started by lightning on July 29, remains at 2,800 acres. Work continues on mopping up hotspots and rehabilitating firelines. Currently, there are 17 personnel committed to this fire. The fire is contained but not controlled.
Update - 29 Aug - Wed
No smokes were observed, and the fire remains at 2850 acres.
Update - 18 Sep - Tues
Personnel were assigned to the fire to continue rehabilitation and patrol for any smokes. The rehabilitation and patrol will continue until weather shuts us down for the season.
Update - 25 Sep - Tues
Two firefighters continued rehabilitation on the Arthur fire today. They reported no smoke or fire activity on the Arthur fire today.
