    Yellowstone Field Trip With Your Class

    Bring your students to Yellowstone for an educational experience of a lifetime. Park Rangers may be able to offer free ranger-led activities for organized groups such as K-12 school groups visiting the park on topics such as geology, geysers, wildlife, or military history. Contact us for information about the programs and to schedule a free ranger program at least 3 weeks in advance of your field trip to Yellowstone. Apply for an Academic Entrance Fee Waiver.

Even though the animals of Yellowstone seem tame they are still wild. Feeding the animals is not permitted in any way, and all visitors must keep 100 yards away from wolves and bears, and 25 yards from other animals.
