2009 Wolf Trap Job Fairs
Wednesday, February 18   1 pm - 7 pm
Saturday, March 7   noon - 4 pm 
Wednesday, March 11   1 pm - 7 pm

The Job Fairs will be held inside the Filene Center. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for parking. For directions to the park, click here. Jobs Available in 2009

There are so many exciting summer jobs at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Here's a brief description of the jobs that will be available for the 2009 summer season.

  • Ushers help seat patrons and enforce house rules.
  • Maintenance Workers direct performance traffic and help keep the park safe and clean.
  • Stage Door Aides are the support staff for the production office.
  • Park Guides work during the day, wear a Park Ranger uniform, give interpretive programs, and help at the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods.
  • Visitor Use Assistants work during the evening, wear a Park Ranger uniform and help with crowd control, parking operations, and emergency situations for performances at the Filene Center.
  • A Theater Specialist mixes sound and helps with stage management at the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods.

Did You Know?
Clara Barton is probably the most famous American nurse who was never a real nurse. She cared for wounded soldiers in the Civil War and as President of the American Red Cross she organized over 18 relief efforts, but she was a former school teacher and government clerk.
