The park is open Daily: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except for Thanksgiving Day and all Federal holidays during the winter months.

Wesleyan Chapel Tours offered March 4 - June 3, 2006 daily at 10:30 and 1:30. June 4 - August 13, 2006 offered daily at 9:30, 10:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30. August 14 - December 17, 2006 offered daily at 10:30 and 1:30.

Stanton House Tours are offered March 4 - June 3, 2006 daily at 11:15 and 2:15. June 4 - August 13, 2006 offered daily at 10:15, 11:15, 2:15. August 14 - December 17, 2006 offered daily at 11:15 and 2:15.

Note! The Elizabeth Cady Stanton House will undergo the installation of a new roof, and will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning August 14th. In lieu of house tours, free talks will be offered in the front yard by park rangers at the times of the normally scheduled tours.

Getting There

Plane
The nearest airports to the park are at Syracuse, Rochester, and Ithaca. Auto rental is available at all three airports.

Car
From the New York Thruway (I-90) take exit 41 (Route 414). Turn right onto Route 414 after exiting the tolls. Follow Route 414 for approximately four miles. At the intersections of Routes 414 and Route 5/Route 20 (the same road at this point), turn left onto Route 5/20. Follow for approximately one and a half miles into the village of Seneca Falls. The Visitor Center is on the left at 136 Fall Street as you enter the downtown area. There is a tall white flag pole in front of the building. The Wesleyan Chapel is next to the Visitor Center, with Declaration Park situated between the two structures.

Public Transportation
There are no buses or passenger trains that come to Seneca Falls or Waterloo. Nearby Auburn and Geneva are served by bus companies, while Rochester and Syracuse are served by Amtrak. Both Seneca Falls and Waterloo are served by taxi cab companies in Waterloo, NY.

Getting Around

There is limited public transportation in the villages of Seneca Falls and Waterloo, Monday through Friday. Click on the link below for a bus schedule and route map. Both villages are served by taxi cab companies in Waterloo, NY. Seneca Falls and Waterloo sites can be reached by automobile, bicycle, or on foot. The Stanton House is approximately one mile from the Visitor Center, while the M'Clintock House is approximately three miles.
