Women's Rights NHP Offers Special Program about Elizabeth Cady Stanton for Women’s History Month

Seneca Falls, NY - Women's Rights National Historical Park invites the public to a special program in honor of Women's History Month on Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. in the Guntzel Theater, located in the park's Visitor Center at 136 Fall Street in downtown Seneca Falls. Park Ranger John Stoudt will present a talk entitled, "Elizabeth Cady Stanton's Civil Wars, 1860 - 1865."
"The National Park Service is commemorating the 150 th anniversary of the Civil War, and Women's Rights National Historical Park contains stories of the people and the events of that era," said Stoudt. "I am excited to be able to share these stories with visitors." Light refreshments will be served following the program.
After the program, visitors are invited to stay for a showing of the film Eleanor Roosevelt as part of the park's celebration of Women's History Month and its first annual Winter Film Festival. The film will begin at 12 p.m. in the Guntzel Theater, and it is 150 minutes in duration.
