Women's Rights National Historical Park will continue its second annual Winter Film Festival by showing a film about Mammoth Cave National Park on Friday, November 16, and Saturday, November 17, 2012.

Mammoth Cave National Park captures the highlights of the world of Mammoth Cave and its varied stories. Viewers can explore the enchantment of the cave systems and amazing subterranean waterways. Located in Kentucky, Mammoth Cave National Park preserves aquatic habitats and a rich variety of plant and animal life. The running time for Mammoth Cave National Park is 75 minutes.

Women's Rights National Historical Park commemorates and preserves the sites associated with the First Women's Rights Convention, which was held in 1848 in Seneca Falls."We are proud to be part of the National Park system, and we invite everyone to join us in enjoying this film about Mammoth Cave National Park," said Superintendent Tammy Duchesne."The Winter Film Festival is a fun way to learn about our national parks," added Superintendent Duchesne.

All film showings will occur at 12:00 Noon on Fridays and Saturdays at the Women's Rights National Historical Park Visitor Center, located at 136 Fall Street in Seneca Falls. All film showings will be free of charge. The Winter Film Festival films are intended for a general audience. Because film lengths vary, visitors are encouraged to call if they are interested in a particular showing.
