The new citizens ranged in age from a woman in her early 20s to a man in his late 80s.

The Honorable Marian W. Payson convened a special session of the U. S. District Court of the Western District of New York in the Wesleyan Chapel, and she administered the oath of citizenship in the naturalization ceremony.
