Harriet Cady Eaton

Harriet Cady Eaton (1810-?) was the older sister of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. She married Daniel Eaton in 1833 and they lived in Seneca Falls. On the first day of the convention, July 19, 1848, Harriet and her eleven year old son, Daniel Cady Eaton (1837-1907) accompanied Stanton to the Wesleyan Chapel. Upon their arrival and finding the door locked, Daniel was boosted through an open window to unlock the front door of the Chapel.
