Officials at Wind Cave National Park are seeking entries for an art show honoring the park’s centennial. The park is sponsoring a show for artists, sculptors, photographers, and poets as part of its hundredth celebration. The centennial celebration will be held over the weekend of June 13-15, 2003; however, artwork may be displayed throughout the summer. The exhibit is designed to showcase art inspired by the mixed-grass prairie ecosystem and underground mazes protected within one of the world’s oldest national parks.

Art show applications are available for downloading at www.nps.gov/wica/ or via e-mail at wica_centennial@nps.gov. For more information, call the park at 605/745-4600. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2003.
