Using Helicopters in the Bison Roundup

Since 1966, the majority of the roundups have been conducted using helicopters to move the bison towards the corrals. This was accomplished in conjunction with horses and/or vehicles until the mid-1990's when it was determined that helicopters alone could move the bison safely and efficiently.
