The Star Lilly has several common names including sand lily, sage lily, mountain lily, wild tuberose, and Star-of-Bethlehem.  The word Leucocrinum comes from Greek meaning "white lily."

Did You Know?
Littleleaf pussytoes can vary in color by elevation. Generally at higher elevations the plant has deeply pink bracts. At lower elevations they are more commonly white.
