Wind Cave National Park - Birds - December Count (U.S. National Park Service)

The Wind Cave December Bird Count centers on the Rankin Ridge Lookout and goes out 5 miles. This covers the entire National Park plus parts of Custer State Park and adjoining National Forest Service and private lands.

The next December bird count will take on December 12, 2010. Meet at the park visitor center at 8:00 a.m. For more information contact Mary Laycock.
