Abstract

The object of this experiment was to determine if buffalo calves can be vaccinated for Brucellosis by either direct vaccination with a Carbon Dioxide propelled syringe and a temporary color marking by paint syringe, or secondly, immobilizing the animal with a Carbon Dioxide propelled syringe containing an immobilizing drug and then vaccinating and marking by while the animal is down.

These experiments were conducted at Wind Cave National Park during November 15 to December 1, 1960.
