WIND CAVE NATIONAL PARK, S.D.-Wind Cave National Park will offer free tours over Presidents Day weekend, February 15 to the 17. Tours of the Garden of Eden will begin at the visitor center at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Visitors will walk along the Garden of Eden Tour route and view boxwork formations for which the cave is famous. This 1/4-mile tour is moderately strenuous with approximately 150 steps andlasts one hour.

"It's a nice opportunity to see a local attraction while getting out of the cold. It's 53 degrees year around in the cave," said Vidal Davila, park superintendent. "We recommend sturdy walking shoes and a light coat or sweater."

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All tours begin at the visitor center located ½-mile off US Highway 385.
