Superintendent Linda L. Stoll announced today that Wind Cave National Park will receive more than $4,800 worth of professional digital photography equipment from Kodak through the National Park Foundation as part of the Proud Partners of America’s National Parks program.

This equipment, which includes a Kodak professional digital camera, will be used to provide images for press releases, visitor center exhibits, and the park’s web site.

Superintendent Stoll said, “Many of our museum exhibits are produced by park staff, and this camera equipment will allow us to improve the visual qualities of the temporary exhibits we have planned for this coming year. Visitors will be able to learn about current research in the park and go away with a greater appreciation for our national parks.”

The donation of the photography equipment is part of Kodak’s commitment as a Proud Partner of America’s National Parks. Through products, people and technology, Kodak is working closely with the National Park Foundation and the National Park Service to provide innovative ways to increase public awareness and appreciation of America’s 388 National Parks. In addition to the contribution to Wind Cave, Kodak is providing professional photography equipment worth more than $200,000 to 51 other National Parks and Proud Partners.

The National Park Foundation is the Congressionally-chartered nonprofit partner of America’s National Parks. Through private fund raising, the Foundation strengthens the enduring connections between the American people and their National Parks. Eastman Kodak Company is the world’s leader in imaging and supports conservation activities on local and national levels as one aspect of its environmental program.
