Discovered by Alvin McDonald on June 13, 1891. The room is named for the Eastern Star group who held a meeting in the cave in this area. Originally called Five Points by Alvin McDonald because of the five leads heading off of the room.

Bull elk in the park.  

Did You Know?
A Rocky Mountain bull elk weighs between 700 - 800 pounds. Rocky Mountain elk were introduced to the park in 1914 and 1916.
