Wind Cave Room - Club Room*
Discovered by Dave Schnute, and Herb and Jan Conn on November 25, 1964. This room is named for its shape which resembles a club, narrow on one end and broad at the other. It is said to be the third largest room in Wind Cave. Dave was scouting ahead and was the first to enter this room.

Winds caused by changes in barometric pressure are what give Wind Cave its name. These winds have been measured at the cave's walk-in entrance at over 70 mph. The winds at the natural entrance of the cave attracted the attention of Native Americans and early settlers.
