Wind Cave Room - Bushed
Discoved by Stan Allison, Bob Kobza, and Jim Nepstad on January 19, 1991. Bushed is a major helicite bush area. Helicite bushes up to 3½ feet tall, some coated with dogtooth spar, can be found here.

Fire is an important factor in protecting the prairie. Historically, fires burned across the prairie every 4 to 7 years. Fires burn the small trees that would otherwise march across the prairie and turn the grasslands to forest.
