Built to Last. The Civilian Conservation Corps were responsible for planning and executing specific projects in America's national and state reserves. The CCC also worked on contracted jobs such as the Wind Cave National Park Visitor Center. The national government contracted work during the 1930's and 1940's to get money back into the economy.
