Buffleheads swim on pond
Blog Entry for November 6, 2011: One female and two male Bufflehead ducks alight on the park's pond Sunday afternoon. This type of duck is a common migrant and winter resident of the region and can frequently be seen at the park. It is also one of the easiest to identify, even from a distance.
