Current Road, Trail, and Campground Conditions
Since conditions throughout the park can change rapidly and unexpectedly, we recommend you please call the Visitor Center at (530) 246-1225 for the most up-to-date information on park conditions. As of 2/28/14 the following conditions are:
Crystal Creek Road: The closed section of the road is from the gate just south of the James K. Carr trailhead to the gate just northeast of Coggins Park. The closure will remain in effect for the winter season.
Shasta Bally Road: The road has been closed at the gate just west of Sheep Camp. The closure will remain in effect for the winter season.
Mill Creek Road: The road is closed approximately 0.3 mi. from Carr Powerhouse Rd. The closure will remain in effect for the winter season.
