Whiskeytown National Recreation Area would like to remind the public that the deadline to submit copies of their favorite “snapshot” for exhibition at the Whiskeytown Visitor Center is nearing. Friends of Whiskeytown, in cooperation with the National Park Service, is asking the public to submit amateur photographs of “park-people-scapes”: snapshots of themselves, their families, and friends picnicking, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, boating, running, reading…any activity they enjoy at Whiskeytown. The Friends of Whiskeytown will present an exhibit at the Visitor Center of photos showing visitors participating in the wide range of activities Whiskeytown offers. The deadline to submit is Sunday, May 15, 2007. The exhibit will run beginning Saturday, June 2nd, and run through July 9th.

Photographs must be: 5”X7” in size. Color or black & white.
