2008 State Easter Egg Display

The State Egg Display tradition has been going on since 1994, and is coordinated by the American Egg Board who selects an artist from each state to paint/decorate an egg. The display is free to the public and open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the White House Visitor Center.

Curry State Easter Egg Artists Continuing a tradition that began in 1994, the American Egg Board will again be coordinating the annual State Easter Egg Display at the White House for 2008. Artists from across the United States create the decorated eggs which represent all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Each egg must be designed to represent some aspect of the state that it is from. All artists must reside in the state and must not have participated in the event in the past.
