    The White House Visitor Center is closed for rehabilitation. A temporary visitor center is located near the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion, just west of the intersection of 15th and E streets, NW.

White House Easter Egg Roll

ONLINE TICKET LOTTERY OPEN THROUGH FEBRUARY 25

The 135th White House Easter Egg Roll will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013. The event will feature live music, sports, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling. More information about events and activities is available on the White House website or by calling the White House Visitors Office 24-hour information line at 202-456-7041. In support of the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation, the activities will encourage children to lead healthy, active lives. The White House will open the South Lawn for children ages 13 years and younger and their families.

Ticket Lottery

White House Easter Egg Roll tickets will be distributed through an online lottery system, allowing guests from across the United States to participate in a tradition that dates back to 1878. The lottery will open for entries on February 21st at 10 am EST and close on February 25th at 10 am EST. Tickets are free of charge and are non-transferable. Lottery results will be available March 1st.

White House Easter Eggs

Commemorative Easter eggs are available through the National Park Foundation. Eggs are $7.99 each or $29.99 for a set of five.
