Weir Farm National Historic Site Welcomes 4th Grade Students Through Every Kid In a Park Initiative
Weir Farm National Historic Site invites all 4th grade students to visit the park as part of the White House’s new Every Kid in a Park program. Starting September 1, 4th grade students can go to www.everykidinapark.gov to complete an activity and obtain a voucher for a free annual entry pass to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks.

Tourism to Weir Farm National Historic Site Creates 2.6 Million Dollars in Economic Benefits
A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 34,083 visitors to Weir Farm National Historic Site in 2014 spent $1.9 million in communities near the park. That spending supported 23 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $2.6 million.
