Park Visitor Center ClosedNext Wednesday

War in the Pacific National Historical Park announces an emergency closure of the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center all dayWednesday, February 25, 2015. The visitor center has recently upgraded its stand-by generator and will be completing final installation work. Although this affects operations on February 25, it will permit the visitor center to operate at a mission-essential capacity in the event of any future power outages.

Other park facilities, such as the Asan Bay Overlook and the restrooms at Asan Beach and Ga'an Point, will remain open. The park anticipates the visitor center will reopen for normal operations onThursday, February 26.
