Island Trail Loop Partially Closed

ENTRANCE FEES
Individual $5.00 - 7 Days Fee is per person, good for 7 days at Walnut Canyon National Monument. Free entrance for children under 16. Major credit cards are accepted for all fees. Flagstaff Area National Monuments Annual Pass $25 - Annual Admits passport holder and 3 adults (16 years and older) to Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater Volcano and Wupatki National Monuments for 1 year, beginning from the month of sale. Major credit cards are accepted. Other Passes
We honor and issue the America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands passes including the Annual Pass, Senior Pass, and Access Pass.

Commercial Fees:
Vehicle Capacity 1-6 (Sedan) $28 - Day Vehicle Capacity 7-25 (Van) $40 - Day Vehicle Capacity 26 or more (Bus) $100 - Day Details Commercial fees are charged according to vehicle carrying capacity - not number of persons on board.
Commercial fees paid at Walnut Canyon will be honored for same-day entry at Sunset Crater Volcano and Wupatki National Monuments. Commercial fee is valid for one day only. |
Did You Know?
Original proposals in 1915 called for establishment of a Cliffs National Monument at Walnut Canyon. The name was changed to Walnut Canyon National Monument to avoid confusion with a nearby railroad siding, mill town, and post office called Cliffs.
