Would binoculars, field guides, and suggested activities add to your field trip? Check out our Discovery Packs.  For large groups, we normally issue one pack per adult, to be shared by several students. Each participant receives a Field Journal.

Did You Know?
Walnut Canyon National Monument's name came from the Arizona walnut, a tree once common in the canyon bottom. It is less so now, because dams constructed upstream have decreased water flow through the canyon.
