Safety

Please stay on the designated trail when hiking. The following are not allowed on the battlefield trail:

• No pets
• No bicycles
• No horses
• No motorized vehicles

Be prepared by bringing the following:

• Water (especially in summer)
• Sunscreen
• A hat
• Insect repellent

Be mindful of:

• Snakes - most snakes are not poisonous, but be aware
• Ticks
• Extreme Heat
