A Work in Progress: Hanging Steel

Park staff opened the new visitor center to the public on August 25, 2007. Currently, the new building features several temporary exhibits, a well-stocked Western National Parks Association bookstore, and the park's 27-minute film Destiny at Dawn. The museum exhibits will be installed later this winter. A special event marking the opening of the Washita exhibits has been postponed until the fall of 2008.

For photographs of the new visitor center click on the View Album or View Slideshow options below. EPC Corporation www.epccorp.net built the new facility. Swaim Associates www.swaimaia.com designed the building .
