Support Your Park
Voyageurs National Park is also fortunate to receive the assistance of many generous individuals who volunteer their time and talents at the park each year. Volunteering is a way to support the park by donating time rather than money.
Voyageurs National Park Association
In 1965, Voyageurs National Park Association (VNPA) was formed to work for the creation of Voyageurs National Park. VNPA provides travel grants to connect students to the park, manages a Land Preservation Initiative to help willing sellers transfer private property to park ownership, and organizes and annual Volunteer Rendezvous.
Friends of Voyageurs National Park
The Friends of Voyageurs National Park is a non-profit organization whose mission is to sponsor outreach that supports natural, historical and educational activities available at Voyageurs National Park.
Jefferson National Parks Accociation
Jefferson National Parks Association (JNPA) partners with Voyageurs National Park and operates the three bookstores within Voyageurs National Park for the benefit of the public and the park. Also JNPA makes significant financial donations back to the park to be used for educational programming, exhibits, special events and site improvements.
