FINAL WINTER TRAIL CONDITIONS REPORT

Snowmobile travel in Voyageurs National Park is not recommended due to deteriorating ice conditions, standing water on frozen lake surfaces and bare ground on safety portages. Trail markers and hazard signs have been removed. The Rainy Lake Ice Road, all snowmobile routes and winter trails at Voyageurs National Park are no longer being maintained. This is the final winter trail report for the 2005-2006 season. Thank you to all Voyageurs National Park visitors for making this a safe and enjoyable winter season.
