A regularly scheduled shuttle service is available to the Locator Lake trailhead during the summer months.

June 15 - August 10, Monday

Voyageurs National Park is offering a regularly scheduled shuttle service to the Locator Lake trailhead during the summer months. Hike 2 miles one way to the interior lakes. Once there, canoes are available for use ONLY if reserved in advance.

Reservations are required for the shuttle. Call (888) 381-2873 for departure times to reserve your spot. A minimum of 4 passengers is required for the shuttle to go. Adults/Child $20 (roundtrip).  

A reservation for a shuttle service does not guarantee you a reservation for a canoe rental. To request a reservation for a canoe rental, call the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center (218) 875-2111 and read the information on watercraft rentals through the Boats on Interior Lakes Program.
