Tour Boat Reservations
All Voyageur and Borealis tour boat reservations are handled by Recreation.gov. Reservations can be made, starting April 15 annually, in advance either online or by telephone. Please see the tour boat reservation page for more information.
- Reservations are strongly encouraged as boat tours do sell out.
- Walk-in ticket sales stop 30 minutes prior to departure.
- Senior and Access Pass holders do receive a 50% discount for the card holder only and must have card at time of reservation.

Borealis Tour Boat Schedule
Kettle Falls Cruise (accessible)
Voyage to historic Kettle Falls Hotel and Dam. Spend 2 hours on land to dine at the hotel, enjoy a picnic lunch, or explore the hotel and nearby dam. Tour fees do not include meals. Adult $40, Child $25. Reservations recommended. (6-passenger minimum)
Ellsworth Rock Garden
Board the tour boat (accessible) and search for active eagle nests. At the gardens, join a ranger for a tour (1/4 mile not accessible) of the unique rock sculptures and building remnants. Adult $25, Child $15. (4-passenger minimum)
Hoist Bay Tour
Board the tour boat (accessible) and cruise to historic Hoist Bay while searching for active eagle nests and other wildlife. Walk with a ranger (1/4 mile not accessible) through the remnants of an old logging camp and historic resort. Adult $30, Child $15. (4-passenger minimum)
Do you have what it takes to be a voyageur?
Paddle back in history aboard a 26-foot North Canoe. Learn the voyageur paddle salute and explore the life of a voyageur. Minimum age is 5, paddling required, and weather dependent. Reservations recommended. Call (218) 875-2111. Free.
