INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minnesota: With the warm weather, trail conditions in the park have deteriorated into poor conditions. All snowmobile trails, ski trails, and snowshoe trails in the park are closed for the season. This will be the last trail report of the season.

With the warm weather, trail conditions in the park have deteriorated into poor condition. All snowmobile trails, ski trails, and snowshoe trails in the park are closed for the season and park staff are removing trail markers and thin ice signs.

Park staff recommend no travel on the lake surfaces because of worsening ice conditions and patches of open water in some locations. This will be the last trail report of the season.

The Kabetogama and Rainy Lake Ice Roads are closed for the season because of deteriorating ice conditions.

Snowshoe Trails- see trail status list at end

All snowshoe trails in the park are closed for the season.

Cross-Country Ski Trails - see trail status list at end

The Echo Bay, Tilson Connector, and Black Bay Ski Trails are closed for the season.

Park volunteer, Ida Mainville steers a canoe full of modern-day voyageurs.

You can see the park just as the voyageurs did over 200 years ago. Each summer the park offers guided trips aboard a 26-foot North Canoe.
