Voyageurs National Park Hosts Snowshoe Lacing Class in February

Have you always wanted to make your own snowshoes or perhaps finish a pair you have started? Here is your chance. Join Laurentian Environmental Center's Senior Naturalist Jim DeVries as he guides you through a full day of instruction on how to lace snowshoes on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Pre-registration and a fee are required. Fees range from $110.00 to $140.00 depending on the type of snowshoe. Participants need to bring a sack lunch. The deadline to reserve a seat is Saturday, January 7, 2012. Call [phone] for more information.

This class is recommended for ages 13 and up.
