International Falls, MN –Park staff would like to remind all park visitors that tent camping reservations are now required for all campsites within Voyageurs National Park. During this Low Use Season: September 16 through May 14, there is a $10 charge for the use of www.recreation.gov but no fee for the site. Visitors to Voyageurs National Park must have a reservation and permit, in hand, prior to entering and tent camping in the park. If a visitor would like to tent camp the day they enter the park, a reservation must be made in advance. Visitors may walk-into a park visitor center to inquire about availability for that night but visitor center hours are limited.Recreation.gov does not reserve same day reservations.Park visitors are highly encouraged to get advanced reservations. Visitors may make reservations by going online at www.recreation.gov or by calling the National Call Center at 877-444-6777. Reminder –Ask for Permits &Wilderness, not Camping!
