INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MN: This summer, Voyageurs National Park rangers will assist with the staffing and operations of the Orr Travel and Information Center in Orr, MN, thanks in part to Voyageurs National Park Association (VNPA). VNPA is a non-profit organization that relies on its members and supporters for funding. Voyageurs National Park through VNPA's Landmark Grant will partner with the city of Orr to keep the center open.Located on US 53, Orr serves as a central hub to Voyageur country, connecting the communities of Crane Lake, Ash River, Kabetogama, Ranier, and International Falls. In addition to information, the center provides picnic shelters, an accessible bog walk, a dump station, and water access for recreational vehicles. Beginning June 16 the center is open Saturdays and Sundays through the third week of September. Summer Hours of Operation: June 16 through September 20 ·Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm ·Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am to 1:00 pm & 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm The next time your travels take you through Orr this summer, stop by the Orr Travel and Information Center where you can stretch your legs along the bog walk and plan your visit to the region seven days a week.
