Gather your kids, friends, and family and join a park ranger for a Saturday program at Voyageurs National Park's Rainy Lake Visitor Center.

Dates and Times:

Saturday, March 16: 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Wetland Building Blocks
Join Ranger Lisa for a hands-on activity and help build a model wetland. Explore what wetlands are, where to find them, and who lives in them. Recommended ages 5 and up.

Saturday, March 30: 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Moose: Up Close and Personal
Join Volunteer-in-the-Park Melissa to discover how a moose's awkward appearance helps them survive the seasons here in Voyageurs National Park. Touch a moose pelt, lift an antler, investigate tracks, and more. Recommended ages 5 and up.

Saturday, April 13: 2:00 - 3:00 pm

We Have to Fly North Again?
Aggghhh! What do you mean we have to fly north again? We just got here! Join Ranger Chris as you transform into birds and face the challenges of migration to and from Voyageurs National Park.Recommended ages 5 and up.

All programs will be at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center. Come early:borrow snowshoes or rent cross-country skis and explore the park. Then grab a cup of cocoa and join a park ranger for a program.
