Who are garden volunteers?

Anyone who enjoys being outdoors and in a garden regardless of gardening background or knowledge. Garden volunteers can be locals who want to spend a few hours a week in the garden or participate in a one day clean up event. Volunteers may also be people interested in coming to Voyageurs for the summer and spending at least 32 hours a week in the garden.

What do garden volunteers do?

Garden duties range from planting and weeding,
to drying herbs, to leading informal programs on
various garden topics,to researching Ojibwe
ethnobotany, to photography and more.
